And Hezekiah wept bitterly. Before Isaiah had gone out of the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, "Return and say to Hezekiah, the leader of my people, "Thus says the Lord, the God of your father David, "I have heard your prayer. The eyes of the Lord, or toward the righteous and His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against evildoers, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. You will tread upon the lion and cobra. The young lion and the serpent you will trample down. Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him. Then you will call in the Lord will answer; You will cry, and he will say, 'Here I am.' And indeed, if they had been thinking of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is a Heavenly one.
