Hello America. Hello world.
From the headquarters of reachmorenow.com in Fort Worth, Texas, this is Ray Mossholder and this is the news.
Today we play catch-up. I don’t mean that red stuff that comes in a bottle and improves the taste of hamburgers, but I’m talking about news stories that I haven’t shared with you in the past week, but news stories you need to be sure you’ve heard so that you do catch up.
And I couldn’t share a bigger story than this first one: the Israeli/Gaza conflict is over. Israel’s mighty army has gone home. After 27 days and sixty-three military casualties, they are leaving Gaza.
I have an awful suspicion that the real reason for Israel’s sudden retreat – which makes no logical sense at this moment because Israel was winning on all fronts – is twofold. First, world opinion continues to grow by leaps and bounds against Israel and not against Hamas. Such pressure is hard on any nation, but far more for Israel because of Jewish hatred in so many parts of the world. The reason for this hatred is biblical, not reasonable.
Second, it is very probable that President Obama threatened to stop sending funds to Israel if Prime Minister Netanyahu did not have his military retreat. Israel’s economy is shaky and the removal of millions of dollars from America would hurt them badly.
And remember my reporting two days ago that Gaza had kidnapped an Israeli soldier? Well it turns out that Gaza didn’t. It is obvious now that he was killed in battle. John Kerry had used strong words against Hamas for the supposed kidnapping. Now that it’s been discovered there was no kidnapping, Kerry has egg on his face. He was falsely accusing Hamas, the dimpled darling of the United Nations, and undoubtedly has apologized profusely privately.
What needs to be remembered and underlined by everyone is that Hamas is a terror organization that may not have kidnapped a soldier right now, but has kidnapped all of Palestine for many many years. Hamas concentrates on their love of death and has no love at all for life. They wallow in any thought of killing Jews or Christians, or Palestinians, or their own children.
The present end to this particular conflict between Israel and Hamas will be temporary. It would be naïve to think otherwise. Hamas, Fatah, and every other Muslim terrorist organization, is polarized on just three things: to obliterate Israel and to obliterate the United States, and to force Shariah Law on the whole world.
I hate to complement a monster. But they are doing a great job at spreading radical Islam. Radical Islam is multiplying like rabbits with their all-male killing machine. There are more and more recruits daily. I don’t know what you do for fun, but on their way to conquering the world their fun is killing Christians and Jews. Hamas and Fatah will now want revenge more than ever for their humiliation in this last month and you can be sure they are making plans for evil right now.
In fact, in Jerusalem it has already started. A Palestinian used a bulldozer to ram an Israeli bus today. An innocent Israeli citizen was killed as a direct result. Police immediately opened fire and killed the attacker. On examination, police said it was a terrorist attack. In the past, Hamas has made a habit of using bulldozers to kill and maim many in Jerusalem.
And in a separate incident today, a terrorist on a motorcycle shot and killed an Army soldier, also in Jerusalem. The shooter has not yet been found, but has been identified as a terrorist.
While Israel withdraws, Hamas remains very much alive.

When I was in high school, I was surprised that most of my classmates didn’t love the history classes. Most of my buddies told me they didn’t like studying history because they had to memorize so many dates they cared nothing about. But I couldn’t get enough of it and found story after story totally captivating.
To me, history isn’t a boring bunch of dates, but dramas that really took place with living people who, to me, were like actors on a stage. I found everything from their thinking, to their clothes, to the good and evil things that they did, and to attitudes and customs of their particular era that leads up to today. I’ve never stopped learning about history totally fascinating. I minored in history in college and would have majored in it if I hadn’t liked acting in plays so much. I hurry to most historical movies and can easily tell the difference between false portrayals of events and real ones.
“A dozen of my very favorite movies with historical backgrounds. I haven’t listed them in order – they are all amazing. And I have left out so many” – Ray
And the old saying that if you don’t pay attention to the mistakes made in history they will repeat themselves, is absolutely true.
My precious friend Janice Marallo sent me the following tragic history. After receiving it, I researched each of these events and I think Janice and my findings will interest you.
1970: A Pan Am 747 bound for New York is skyjacked by Muslim males after takeoff from Amsterdam. The flight is diverted to Cairo, where all of the 170 occupants are released. Radicals then blow up the plane.
1970: In the so-called “Black September” hijackings, five jets, including ones belonging to TWA, Pan Am and Israel’s El Al, are commandeered over Europe over a three-day span by a group called the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Three of the five planes are diverted to a remote airstrip in Jordan, rigged with explosives and blown up. A fourth is flown to Egypt and destroyed there. All passengers had been freed before the aircraft were demolished.
In 1972 at the Munich Olympics, 11 Jewish athletes were kidnapped and massacred by Muslim males.
1972: A JAT (Yugoslav Airlines) DC-9 en route from Copenhagen to Zagreb explodes at 33,000 feet, killing 27 people. The all-male Croatian National Movement, admits to the bombing.
1972: In the arrivals lounge of the Lod airport near Tel Aviv, three men from the all-male Japanese Red Army, recruited by the Palestinian Popular Front For the Liberation of Palestine whose largest group is Hamas, opened fire with machine guns and grenades, killing 26 people and injuring 80.
1973: As passengers board a Pan Am 747 at the airport in Rome, all-male terrorists spray the plane with gunfire and toss grenades into the cabin, killing 30.
1974: A TWA 707 flying from Athens to Rome (part of Tel Aviv-New York service), falls into the sea near Greece, killing all 88 aboard, the result of an explosive device hidden in the aft cargo compartment by all-male Muslim terrorists.
In 1985, TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens, and a US Navy diver trying to rescue passengers was murdered by Muslim males.
1985, the Cruise Ship Achilles Lauro was hijacked and a 70 year old American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair by Muslim males.
1985: The Abu Nidal group that became Fatah, kills 20 people in a pair of coordinated ticket-counter assaults at airports in Vienna and Rome.
1985: Shiite militiamen armed with grenades and pistols overtake TWA Flight 847 traveling from Athens to Rome. The stolen 727 then embarks on a remarkable 17-day odyssey to Lebanon, Algeria and back again. At one point passengers are removed, split into groups and held captive in downtown Beirut. The sole casualty is a U.S. Navy diver who is shot in the temple and dumped on the tarmac. All remaining hostages are eventually released, but not before the Israeli government agrees to free more than 700 Shiite fighters captured in southern Lebanon.
1986: As TWA flight 840 descends through 10,000 feet toward Athens, a bomb goes off in the cabin. Four people are sucked out of the plane, including a baby, and die, ejected through a tear in the 727′s fuselage. The all-male Abu Nidal that became Fatah happily claims they did it.
1986: At Karachi international airport, a Pan Am 747 is preparing for departure when four heavily armed members of the all-male Abu Nidal group seize the aircraft. When Pakistani forces storm the plane, the terrorists begin shooting and lobbing grenades. Twenty-two passengers are killed and 150 are wounded. Although all four terrorists are captured and sent to prison in Pakistan, they’re released in 2001.
1988: Pan Am Flight 103 to New York disintegrates about a half hour out of London. The majority of the wreckage falls onto the town of Lockerbie, Scotland, killing all 259 people on the plane and 11 more on the ground. Two male Libyan nationals connected to Omar Qaddafi did it with a bomb.
1989: One hundred seventy people from 17 countries, including seven Americans, are killed when an explosive device goes off in the forward luggage hold of a McDonnell Douglas DC-10 on a flight from Brazzaville, Congo, to Paris on a French UTA airliner. The all-male Islamic Jihadists proudly take full credit for the bombing.
1994: An Air France A300 is stormed by an all-male foursome of extremist Muslims in Algeria. The plane is forced to Marseilles, where seven people die when French troops rush aboard for a rescue. An Air France pilot is seen hurling himself out of a cockpit window while an explosion flashes behind him.
1996: An Ethiopian Air Lines 767 is skyjacked over the Indian Ocean. The jet runs out of fuel and heads for a ditching off the Comoros Islands. All-male skyjackers from the Arab Revolutionary Cells wrestle with the pilots, and the plane breaks apart upon hitting the water, killing 125.
1995 – Ramzi Yousef, an al-Qaida conspirator linked to the 1993 World Trade Center prelude, and master mixer of hard-to-detect liquid explosives plans to blow up a dozen jetliners simultaneously over the Pacific Ocean. Before he was apprehended in Pakistan, Yousef completed a test run on a Philippine Airlines 747, killing a Japanese businessman with a small under-seat bomb.
On 9/11 2001, four airliners were hijacked; two were used as
missiles to take down the World Trade Centers and of the remaining two, one crashed into the US Pentagon and the other was diverted and crashed by the passengers. Many thousands of innocent people were killed by Muslim males, and first responders are still dying as a result of what happened from these terrorists that day.
2002 – Richard Reid became known as the shoe bomber after he was caught trying to blow up an American Airlines flight months after 9/11 with a bomb detonator hidden in the lining of one of his shoes. Reid is serving a life sentence in prison in Colorado.
In 2002, reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and beheaded by—you guessed it —Muslim males.
In 2013, Boston Marathon Bombing 4 Innocent people including a child killed, 264 injured by Muslim males.
Pause a moment and reflect on the fact that these were tragic events from very recent history. They really happened!!!
No, I really don’t see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you?
So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. So, ask yourself “Just how stupid are we???” We Absolutely Do Not Profile!
Airlines must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President’s security detail, 85-year old, Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males, alone lest they be guilty of profiling.
Have the American people completely lost their Minds, or just their Power of Reason???

In my coverage of the Israeli/Gaza conflict two days ago, I mentioned the off-again on-again relationship Egypt has with Israel. But Egypt has been a full companion of Israel’s to break the back of Hamas and Fatah during their entire invasion. Egypt put boots on the ground to fight against Hamas and they helped bomb tunnels that made the tunnels no longer operative. This new, surprising blessing from Egypt, was the unexpected forming of a partnership in war that gave Israel far more strength in the victories they have had.
Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sissi
Now, to follow up on yesterday’s news focus on the crisis at America’s borders, a whole lot of what happens to the children and teenagers entering our country has come to light. And, oh, is it costing America’s taxpayers!
Done in secret until now, the answer is huge companies, and even some faith-based nonprofit organizations, are making a killing on these kids.
Here’s a prime example: Kevin Dennin is the CEO of a nonprofit organization that was formerly called Baptist Child and Family Services and now called BCFS. BCFS is now one of the biggest groups sheltering many of the illegal aliens. President Obama is at the heart of this, handing out money like candy. BCFS has received a federal grant of $280 million dollars, plus another grant from the Department of Health and Human Services of one hundred ninety million, seven hundred and seven thousand, five hundred and five dollars. And BCFS does not have to account for how these millions and millions of dollars are spent!
To keep any of the kids from mob confrontations from angry citizens who want the aliens – children or not – to be sent back to their homelands immediately, the aliens are whisked away from the borders, often at night, to parts unknown. There are many other faith-based nonprofit children’s shelters receiving massive amounts of money, and many rich companies getting far richer by cramming the kids together somewhere. It’s sure a good thing America has such a great economy! As our debts as a nation explode astronomically, President Obama’s edges administration’s answer to almost everything is to throw millions or billions of dollars at it with no accountability and see what sticks.

Question: Will President Barack Obama finish out his second four-year term? Answer: Not if the Republicans have their way about it. Wednesday they voted to impeach the president for his far overreaching use of executive power.
The Republicans in the House of Representatives say they are fed up with Obama thumbing his nose at them as he signs into law new laws that totally affect how America operates as a nation now and will greatly affect the future of our nation. Without counsel from any Republicans, Obama cancels or greatly changes prior existing laws he personally wants gone. He does whatever he wants whenever he wants without any Republican input.
The president’s total slight of Speaker of the House John Boehner, except when they are both silently playing golf or the president wants a beer buddy, has personally angered Boehner for six years, and the House Republican Congresspeople say they have had the same treatment. In some cases, Republican House members who were voted in for just one two-year term and then replaced by someone else, were kept from voting on a single major issue because of Obama’s belief that seeking congressional approval is simply a nuisance.
President Obama is often called “A Constitutional scholar.” That makes him fully aware that the Constitution declares there shall be three branches of authority – executive (the president), legislative (the Senate), and judicial (the House of Representatives). It is easy to see when anyone cares to look at the legislative and judicial branches that they have been completely left out when the executive uses in Obama’s own words, his “phone and a pen.”
The Republicans have tried to stop President Obama from his lone -wolf habit, but they have not found any legal way to do that short of impeachment.
There are so many times Republicans could point to when Mr. Obama, according to them, has used his “executive privilege” (nearly 800 during his six years in office, more by hundreds than any other measurable president who has been in office for that length of time) without even a conversation with one Republican. But the focus of the impeachment will be on Obamacare and the more than thirty “illegal” changes of laws inside that law at his own whim.
Kathleen Sibelius with President Obama
No Democrats voted yes for the impeachment of their president. The five Republicans who voted with the Democrats are Paul Broun of Maryland, Steve Stockman of Texas, Scott Garrett of New Jersey, Walter Jones of North Carolina, and Thomas Massie of Kentucky. The vote was 225-201.
In throwing down his glove at the president’s feet, John Boehner and the House Republicans have chosen a most unusual time to do it. Everyone in Congress is now on a five-week recess. Midterm elections will take place in less than four months. Democrats running for office will attempt to put a spin on this that makes the Republicans look like weaklings who have for six years not concentrated on issues that needed to be solved, but on getting the president impeached. Meanwhile, Republicans running for office will try to make their point. It’s very possible that the elections will show what American voters really think about Obama. His approval rate among voters at this moment is 42%, but a far larger percent of voters say they oppose the president’s impeachment.
Could it be that the thought of having seventy-five-year-old “foot-in-the- mouth” Joe Biden take over the presidency is an unpleasant one?
Or that older voters still remember how messy and costly the impeachment of President Bill Clinton was and that it accomplished nothing?
Or that Americans do want their presidents to simply think for them without discussion or following laws clearly laid down in the US Constitution?
Or are the entitlements millions are receiving now too sweet for voters to give up?
Or is it that Americans don’t want to appear racist by impeaching their first black president?
Or is it that Americans don’t like our president’s actions, but they genuinely like him?
Most likely each of these thoughts, or combinations thereof, have a lot to do with many individual voter attitudes nationwide.
This past Wednesday, as the House Republicans made it clear that they were going to move for the president’s impeachment, the Democrats in the House while debating the issue lined up on their side of the chamber and one after the other asked the GOP members to vote first on minimum wage, to extend jobless benefits, and ensure pay equity. The Democrats knew the Republicans were not going to vote on these issues. They immediately began telling the press that the Republican focus from the beginning of Obama’s first term was on impeachment and not on solving major problems that were and are affecting our nation.
Although the major focus in the impeachment lawsuit will be on Obamacare, the Republicans are also telling reporters of their concern about Obama’s commitment to allow children of undocumented immigrants to stay in this country; and his solo trade of five major terrorists to the Taliban in exchange for Beau Berghdahl who is now being kept entirely out of the news. The Republicans, of course, are attempting to keep what they consider the “illegal” re-writings of laws that affect Obamacare, front and center with the media.
The House’s Office of General Counsel will represent the House in court and the resolution passed by the Republicans gives it the authority to hire outside lawyers to finalize their strategy that would lead to the impeachment of President Obama, and to file the formal complaint.
But you’ve heard the statement, and it’s true, “The wheels of justice grind slowly.” President Obama could finish his second four years before he would ever come to trial. The Republicans know this.
There are other Constitutional scholars besides Obama who are raising doubts already that any court will take up this case. The House will have to prove how they have been damaged as an institution by the President’s neglect of them. In law, often something that seems an obvious need to everyone is shot down by hidden clauses. This bill of impeachment may be one of those.

With Americans sick and tired of war, sanctions are the weapon of choice today to replace weapons that kill.
Remember that news clip on television news before Barack Obama was reelected for a second term – the picture of Vladimir and Barack where Barack whispered to Vladimir that after he was reelected he would be able to be able to be much more flexible?
Vladimir Putin, Malaysian airliner, African, Ebola, Andrew Demaray she, Meriam Ibrahim, Argentina,
That clip went viral but we never knew what that conversation was about, and now it doesn’t seem to matter. Barack slapped Vladimir this week, not with his hand but with more sanctions. The usually spineless EU also found enough of their backbone to join our President in any hitting Mister Putin with even more sanctions, almost as if they were trying to outdo our President. The European Union risks more than we do because many of the countries have huge financial deals with Russia that they had to surrender in order to do this.
This round of sanctions will be the hardest yet on Russia. With its economy shaking worst than us all, all sanctions will directly affect the Bear. Obama put sanctions on Russia’s energy, banks, and military. While announcing these new sanctions the president said, “Today is a reminder that the United States means what it says.” Well done Mr. President.
Europe banned the sales of weaponry to Russia, and greatly limited Russia’s ability to make loans from their countries. They are also barring Russia from access to new technology.
What prompted all the sanctions? The shooting down of a Malaysian airliner carrying nearly 300 passengers, by Russian rebels in Ukraine.
**********
With bullets flying in all directions and bombs dropping willy-nilly around them, international monitors for the Organization for Security and Cooperation and four other crash site experts are combing that Malaysian airliner’s grisly remains – a huge pile of scattered wreckage with rotting body parts intermingled.
There were 193 Dutch, 43 Malaysians and 37 Australians on Flight 17 when it was shot down over rebel-held territory on July 17 en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, killing all 298 people on board. U.S. and Ukrainian officials say it was shot down by a missile from rebel territory, most likely by mistake.
Whatever was left of many of the bodies have already been sent back to their grieving families. But the OSCE team has been gathering smaller parts severed on impact.
This is not only an obviously hideous task, to explore the remains of an airliner scattered on the ground, but this is being done in 90° and above weather. Michael BOKEE-URKEE, a spokesman for OSCE, said “We’ve been here multiple times, and yet it hasn’t gotten any easier. There are still human remains in front of me, we can tell by the smell, and there are we have to go through every area inch by inch.” That will be no cinch.

With all the news about terrorists from African countries, you might think if I share the name Sheikh Umar Khan that I’m talking about just another one. But nothing could be further from the truth. Sheikh Umar Khan is a medical doctor, a hero, who tragically died this past week of the disease he conquered for so many others. Sheikh Umar Khan is the doctor in West Africa who is credited for saving more than 100 lives from the dreaded Ebola virus which he contracted and that has now killed him. Three nurses died of the same virus this month while treating patients with the same disease.
Dr. Sheikh Umar Khan
West Africa now has had the worst Ebola virus plague in history. More than 900 have died from it. Tarik JASTERAVIC, a spokesman for the World Health Organization, told Time magazine that more than 100 health workers have also contracted the virus since the beginning of the outbreak and about half of them have died. He said, “Khan’s death is yet another recognition that health workers is the group most at risk. This is the first time most of these workers have faced such an outbreak. We are so understaffed. The disease came on so quickly that we didn’t have the time to properly train the staff on even how to use their protective gear. We need many more workers.”
The worst epidemic of the Ebola virus has been in Sierra Leone. And its neighbor, Liberia, has been hit heavily with it too, as has Guiena. These countries have closed their borders to help stop the flow of the epidemic. That brings no ease to those in Europe and the UK. They are preparing for the worst, while hoping against hope that the disease will not come near them. Outbreaks and two deaths have already occurred in America.
But there is possible good news about the dreaded Ebola virus. Two Christian American aid missionaries were flown from Liberia to the United States this week – thirty-three-year-old Dr. Kent Brantly, who is being treated at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, and Nancy Writebol, who has just arrived by plane and is now entering that same hospital.
Missionary doctors Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol
The possible good news is that an experimental drug never tested on any human being prior to this – a drug called ZMapp – has had some initial positive effects on both Doctor Brantly and Nancy. She is walking with assistance and both of them have increased appetites. However, it’s far too early to know whether the drug will have a lasting effect on either of them are.
Bruce Johnson, the president of SIM, which stands for Serving In Missions, told the Associated Press “Ebola is a tricky virus. One day you can be up and the next day down. But we are grateful this medicine was available.”
A US administration official said President Obama is continuing to receive updates on the dread disease and has increased assistance to try to contain the virus. He has not stopped airplanes continuing to come to America from the infected nations.

Following up from that story, you may want to think twice about sunbathing the rest of this summer. The acting United States Surgeon General had asked Americans to skip entirely those pleasurable days at the beach, or those days in their backyard, sunbathing , this whole summer. And also avoid all tanning salons or tanning beds. Reason? Since 1973, the most dangerous skin cancer – Melanoma – has increased in epidemic proportion. Rear Admiral Boris Lushniak says today 5 million people in the United States are infected because they make themselves vulnerable for exceeding amounts of time to the ultraviolet rays of the sun or to brown their skin with indoor tanning devices.
The good news is many other cancers are seriously decreasing, including lung cancer, but melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer and is on the increase nationwide. He also said children should be limited in their time outside during the daytime because they are just as susceptible to melanoma as adults are.

Remember Evita, Juan Peron’s wife – or was that Madonna? – singing “Don’t cry for me, Argentina?” Well, we might not cry for Evita or Madonna, but we can cry for Argentina today and especially for her debtors. For a second time in thirteen years, this past week, Argentina has defaulted on its loans, leaving people in that country and elsewhere hopeless to receive the money the bonds they had bought years ago were supposed to yield. An earlier U.S. court ruling blocked Argentina from receiving the five hundred and thirty-nine million dollars that was due by midnight Wednesday.
Some in America are affected – they were waiting for that money to retire. Argentina has now shattered their dreams.

Today is Day 128 in a Tijuana jail for Marine Sergeant Andrew TAMOREESI without a phone call from our president to theirs.
On Obama’s phone such a call would be free.
Yesterday TAMOREESI had another rare day in court. This time to face his accusers – four Mexican border guards who arrested him on March 31st on gun charges. Now he waits three more months before another day in court. One phone call could get him released.
I’ve come to believe that the reason no one from the Obama administration, or Obama himself, is making the necessary phone call that could get TAMOREESI set free in a heartbeat is strictly because of those guns – guns totally legal in America. Defending anyone who has guns these days – even if they are a war hero like our Marine Sergeant is – when it comes to doing anything on behalf of them, Obama is willing to let them rot. What other reason would you give for his not making one phone call to the president of Mexico, a friend of his, to get TAMOREESI freed?

It’s with great joy that I share the good news that Meriam Ibriham, the Christian mother held for two years in a South Sudanese prison cell, where she gave birth to her second baby, is no longer in South Sudan. She is beginning her life with her husband and two children in her brother-in-law’s home in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Facing a death sentence and 100 lashes, The Christian Family Council and the American Center of Law and Justice, accompanied by signed petitions from American Christians all over our nation, and most of all the worldwide Christian prayers that went up to Christ on behalf of this brave woman, has brought about the miracle we were praying for.
Meriam and family flew first from Khartoum, South Sudan, to Rome in secret, thanks to the Italian government. They then had a meeting with Pope Francis who had also played an important role in getting the final release for them all. Pope Francis thanked Meriam for her courage and staying true to her faith despite the threat of execution.”
She told a reporter for the Italian newspaper La Repubblica “My husband is a chemist, and lost his job because of my event. Now we will go to New Hampshire where my brother-in-law, Gabriel, lives..
I never believed I would fulfill my lifelong dream – to meet the Pope.”
Now it is just as unbelievable to her to be free and home with the two-year nightmare behind her. Continue to pray for Meriam as she makes the transition from hell to Earth and can start living again. God answers prayer.

,
Is Jay Sekulow really Clark Kent?!!
Jay Sekulow is like a Christian Superman with no need for a cape. He, or those wise enough to represent him, highly gifted Christian lawyers under the auspices of the American Center For Law And Justice, were instrumental in getting Meriam Ibrahim freed from prison and away from South Sudan with her family. The ACLJ fights many battles in court both nationally and internationally, and like hundreds of clones of Perry Mason, wins case after case. The ACLJ’s latest victory came yesterday when they saved the cross that is in the Ground Zero Museum in New York City.
In a landmark decision, The Second Court Of Appeals rejected the claim from the “American Atheists” who were cross about the cross. They had said in court that the cross at Ground Zero made them nauseous, headachy, nervous and breaking out with hives.
The Cross was left standing when the Federal Trade Towers collapsed. It became a symbol of hope for everyone but the atheists.
But the Second Court Of Appeals answered “hogwash.” Well, they didn’t really say “hogwash”. What they said was far more powerful in behalf of Christians throughout America. Everything they said underlined the truth that Christian faith reverberates throughout history, including today. The entire decision of the court is extremely worth reading, but I’m going to share with you just one paragraph that stood out in my mind and will give you a picture of how The Second Court Of Appeals reached its decision. The Chief Justice read this to everyone in court, including the atheists who didn’t have a prayer:
QUOTE – “American Atheists point to no precedent holding that when a religious symbol or artifact with genuine historical significance is included in a public historical display, the actual purpose is necessarily religious promotion. To the contrary, the Supreme Court has long recognized that an accurate account of human history frequently requires reference to religion: Quote – ‘The history of man is inseparable from the history of religion.’ Engle versus Vitale, (1962).
Indeed, as Justice Jackson observed in Illinois ex religion McCollum v. Board of Education, (1948) ‘it is proper, if not an indispensable, part of preparation for a worldly life to know the roles that religion and religions have played in the tragic story of mankind. The fact is that for good or for ill, nearly everything in our culture worth transmitting, everything that gives meaning to life, is saturated with religious influences,” END QUOTE
The conclusion by the Second Court Of Appeal will no doubt be appealed by the atheists. But a blow has been struck by setting a precedent that will ripple in any further court’s decisions.

If you’ve been a parent who thought Cartoon Network was a great place for your children to spend time before the TV, please rethink that thought quickly. A filthy, blasphemous, television series is scheduled to begin on Cartoon Network August 7. The new series is called “Black Jesus,” starring Jesus Christ! Only this is a Jesus who swears, smokes pot, and finds himself stuck in the middle of both verbal violence and gun violence.
The series creators say “Black Jesus” is a hilarious comedy, it’s critics say that it is crude, offensive, and sacrilegious. They point out that if the exact same program starred someone playing Mohammed, they would probably have their heads cut off for airing just one show.
There is still time to stop this film from airing even once. If you are offended by such a plot outline, there are three things you should do today.
First, go to Change.org on your computer and sign the Christian Network’s petition to stop even the first show from airing.
Second, phone Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta, Georgia, and protest their idea of giving “Black Jesus” any airtime at all. Tell them that if they put this fully offensive program on television, you will boycott any of the sponsors. Be polite, but forceful. The number to call is 404-827–1700. If “Black Jesus” does begin, I will tell you how to contact their sponsors.
Third, call your friends and have them do the same.

You know the saying “Some guys get all the luck?” While there’s a guy in Indianapolis proving that point. I’m talking about Robert Hamilton who won a million dollars on a scratch off ticket last week at an Indianapolis convenience store. You say, “Wow, that guy was lucky!” But there’s more to this story.
Three months ago Hamilton was on a trip to attend a conference in Western Indiana and stopped at a convenience store in Jasonville. While there, he bought another scratch ticket and – you guessed it – he won his first million dollars! Some guys get all the luck!
Hamilton says he used the first million dollars to pay off all his debts, buy a home, and invest in his business. Asked what he is going to do with his second million dollars, he answered, “I’m going to buy a motorcycle.” You can buy one whale of a motorcycle for a million dollars!
