One of the greatest movies I’ve ever seen was the Academy award winning “Chariots of Fire”. It’s the story of Olympic runner turned missionary, Eric Lidell. Eric believed Christ told him never to run on Sundays. So he never did, and because of this strong principle in his life it undoubtedly cost him one gold medal at the Olympics that he otherwise would have won. So strong was his faith in Christ that they made the movie to center on him.
The following video carries the life story of Eric Lidell and it tells you what happened to him after he did win Olympic gold. Eric’s life sends a powerful message to us all. –Ray
