Today marks the beginning of a project that I intend to do for as long as God gives me the grace to do it. I plan to narrate the New American Standard Bible one chapter at a time. We begin with the book of John because it is the first book in the Bible I recommend brand-new Christians to read.
But you don’t have to be a new Christian to fully enjoy God’s Word. Jesus said His Word is our daily bread. Without staying in the Bible daily, we will quickly weaken spiritually and begin doing our own thing and ending up on a dead-end street called Empty.
