WHY LINDA RONSTADT CAN NEVER SING AGAIN!

If you are young, you may not even know who Linda Ronstadt is. She was one of the most loved voices from the 60s until almost now. Linda could sing anything from hard rock to opera and everything in between. She was a soloist, but sang country-western with Dolly Parton and other styles of songs with other great artists, made movies, and I never could get enough of her voice. Now she has lost that voice. Here’s why.

THE ORIGIN AND HORRORS OF ISIS, THE WORLD"S BARBARIC BULLIES

Richer than most kings, more cruel and barbaric than anything we have ever known, killing their own members for sport, cutting the heads of children off, or crucifying them, or burying them alive, or cutting them in half, and doing the same thing with teenagers and adults, this demon-filled group of bullies  are doing it in the name of Allah, Islam, and the goal of the strictest of Shariah law worldwide. – Ray

THE LAST BATTLE - CHAPTER 8 - WHAT NEWS THE EAGLE BROUGHT

In the shadow of the trees on the far side of the clearing something was moving. It was gliding very slowly Northward. At first glance you might have mistake it for smoke, for it was gray and you could see tings through it. But the deathly smell was not the smell of smoke. Also, this thing kept its shape instead of billowing and curling as smoke would have done. It was roughly the shape of a man but it had the head of a bird; some bird of prey with a cruel, curved beak. It had four arms which it held high above its head, stretching them out Northward as if it wanted to snatch all Narnia in its grip; and its fingers – all twenty of them – were curved like its beak and had long, pointed, bird-like claws instead of nails. It floated on the grass instead of walking, and the grass seem to wither beneath it.

PRIME MINISTER OF ENGLAND DAVID CAMERON WARNS ISIS IS READY

The contrast between the Prime Minister of England and the President of the United States is stark. David Cameron is preparing his country for an imminent attack from Isis. While President Obama says America is safer now than at any other time in three decades.  Isis is at the Juarez/US border along with Al Qaeda, with full plans to invade . Listen to David Cameron and decide which leader is doing the wiser thing. – Ray

Whitney Houston sings The Star-Spangled Banner

Whitney Houston loved America and loved Jesus Christ. Her friends wept the hardest because she was such a beautiful person who knew how overwhelming it is to be a superstar. She didn’t intend to commit suicide. She took drugs and literally drowned in a bathtub. She was to entertain again that night and her friends say she was excited about it. This video is priceless.

THE STAR-SPANGLED BANNER POWERFULLY EXPLAINED

The American flag will have been the proud symbol of the United States for 200 years on September 14, 2014. It’s more than just a symbolic logo, it is the symbol of the UNITED states of America. In this video you will see how Francis Scott Key wrote this song and what it represented at that moment. I fully believe the next few months is going to determine whether this flag will continue waving in the future. Watch this and you’ll learn history in a way that should thrill you. – Ray

The Bill Keith Report

News And Commentary

August 22, 2014

Greetings to Bill Keith’s readers in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and 61 foreign countries.

Something very new is beginning with this news report and commentary written by my great friend and journalist, Bill Keith. Bill has asked me to read his commentary to you and I am so honored to do it. Bill is the author of many books and I’ll be telling you about each of them in future Bill Keith reports.

Bill calls me his mentor and I call Bill my mentor; we are mutual admiration society. I want to thank Dorothy Baker who first introduced me to Bill’s writings. Thanks Dorothy for bringing the three of us together.

Bill Keith is a keen observer of what is happening to our nation and like my newscasts, tells it like it is. We have no ax to grind with Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, Or Independents, including our President. But we are both totally in love with this nation of ours, and when anyone tramples on it, you are going to hear from us.

It’s an extreme honor to begin reading to you these reports. In fact, I will be going back to our archives to retrieve all of Bill’s reports and put everything relevant to today together, in case you missed any of them, and bring them to you again so that I share with you Bill’s powerful newscasts.

So, from the headquarters of reachmorenow.com in Fort Worth Texas, this is Ray Mossholder, at this is the bill Keith Report And Commentary:

If you believe the information in this edition of The Report is worthwhile, please pass it on to your friends and contact your congressional representatives about the issues.

Question for Report readers: If an ISIS/Al Qaeda/Taliban terrorist crosses the Rio Grande into our land carrying a nuclear device the size of a grapefruit and takes out one of our cities, will President Obama blame President George W. Bush?

The Killing in Ferguson, Missouri: Rush to Judgment

When a Ferguson, Missouri, police officer shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown, it was a shot that reverberated all across the land. Whenever a young black man is killed or when dozens of blacks are killed by other blacks in Southside Chicago, New York City and most of the larger cities in this land –  it is unfortunate.

When a white police officer shoots a black, the reaction by politicians and race hustlers is as sure as sin following temptation. They arrive on the scene, make fiery speeches, fire up the crowd and at least inadvertently encourage them to riot, knock out the windows of department stores, burn buildings, and throw Molotov cocktails — incendiary gasoline bombs — at police.

All of this is a rush to judgment before they know the details of exactly what happened. Before the investigation is complete. Before the coroner’s report.

Race hustlers like the Reverend Al Sharpton and Reverend Jesse Jackson were some of the first ones on the scene. They went to Ferguson to wage a war on the police and did their best to rev up the crowd. They convicted the police officer before they ever heard his side of the story. Jackson even tried to take up an offering. The people booed his effort. No one knows what he was going to do with the money.

Enter Missouri Governor Jay Nixon, another who couldn’t resist a rush to judgment before all the facts were in. He said the police officer should be prosecuted. Later he tried to retract his statement.

So you have the governor, Jackson, Sharpton and hundreds of rioters taking the law into their own hands, condemning the police officer before he was given due process. The case now has gone to a grand jury.

The hustlers and the crowd also called for St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch to step down. The reason is that his father was a policeman killed by a black man.

Comment: On August 11, a black police officer shot and killed a 20-year-old white man in Salt Lake City, Utah. However, the news media did not think it was a story so most didn’t even cover the incident. Compare that to the news frenzy in Ferguson where a white officer shot and killed an unarmed black man.

Is this just a coincidence or is the mainstream news media guilty of race-baiting to further their own agenda that continues to hold on to the worn-thin concept that most police officers  have racial animosity toward blacks and are bad and the black man must be a victim. That is pure nonsense.

Now we must let the rule of law prevail and the governor, Sharpton and Jackson should shut up and let the proper authorities carry out a thorough investigation and determine if there is culpability.

Immigration: Bad News for President Obama

A survey of 1,001 likely voters found that 65 percent of the American people believe the illegal immigrant children should be sent home. They say that would be a signal to tens of thousands of others who plan to come to the U.S. Only 22 percent said they should be kept here away from danger in their home countries, the Washington Times reported.

By next year, a total of  250,000  illegal immigrant children are expected flood into this land.

According to Polling Company, Inc., voters also take a dim view of President Obama’s plan to grant amnesty to millions of illegals already in this land. Some 74 percent believe he should work with Congress to solve the immigration problem. Only 21 percent said he should deal with the issue through executive order.

Comment: Everyone recognizes that the President is a brilliant man. But we question his judgment and common sense. For instance, if he  grants amnesty to five million illegals — against the will of the American people — which he is threatening to do, the people will be so incensed they will turn on the democrats and hence the republicans will hold on to a majority of the House of Representatives and take over the Senate. Certainly unintended consequences.

The Emperors of Washington

The Report has documented case after case of how the Ruling Elite, i.e., Emperors of Washington, levy exorbitant taxation on the common folks yet pay little attention to them or how their money is spent. They say to the taxpayers, “Let the cash register ring, ka-ching, ka-ching, keep that money coming.” But then care little what we think.”

Case in point — U. S. Senator Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia lives only 60 miles from Washington, D.C. Yet he travels home almost exclusively via charter planes that cost $4,400 per round trip. And guess what? He sends the bill to the taxpayers. Why? Because he considers himself one of the elected elite.

“There are as many as six commercial flights a day between D.C. and Charleston, West Virginia, the city Rockefeller flies to and from,” The Washington Times reports. “A round-trip ticket for the one-hour flight costs as little as $206.”

According to the Times, Rockefeller’s 32 trips in the past three years cost the taxpayers $141,408 for the chartered planes. For one trip from February 28 to March 1 of this year, airfare for the senator from Washington DC to Charleston and return cost $9,657. Again, paid for by taxpayers.

Comment: Elected officials in Washington have no shame. They act like they are anointed rather than appointed. And Senator Rockefeller is not alone in the abuse of taxpayers’ dollars. Both democrats and republicans are guilty and have been guilty in the past.

When, under heaven, will there be a taxpayer revolt where the people will say “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?”

The Emperors of Washington vs. WE THE PEOPLE

In recent years the federal government has moved closer and closer to a dictatorship and total control of the lives of the American people.

The emperors in Washington are not at all concerned how the people of this land feel about national issues.

If they were concerned, we would never have had the Affordable Care Act forced upon us to the detriment of the best healthcare system in the world.

If they were concerned, they would stop the hordes of illegal aliens coming across our southern border with Mexico. Some estimate we already have 20 million here and millions more on the way.

If they were concerned, they would stop the reckless spending — that could bankrupt this nation — and balance our budget. President Clinton did it back in the ’80s.

If they were concerned, they would stop downsizing our military and keep our nation strong.

If they were concerned, they would stop criticizing Israel — our only friend in the Middle East — and calling the relationship with the Palestinians “apartheid” as John Kerry said. President Obama would quit yelling at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He has never yelled at the Palestinian/Hamas leaders.

And on and on it goes, and where it stops nobody knows.

Welfare and the Vanishing American Dream

Earlier this week, the U. S. Census Bureau announced there were  109,631,000 Americans on federally funded welfare as of the fourth quarter of 2012, CNS reported.

The American Dream has virtually disappeared for these people.

That number represents 35.4 percent of all the 309,467,000 people living in the United States.

During the past five years, the feds have spent $3.7 trillion on 80 different welfare programs.

However, this does not include the cost of Social Security and Medicare, unemployment and veterans benefits. When these are added to those receiving welfare benefits, there were153,323,000 — almost half of the American people — receiving some type of federal benefits at the end of 2012.

Food Stamp Fraud: Will It Never End?

Food stamp recipients are selling their benefits on the Internet in exchange for money, rent and even for art, according to a federal investigators’ report.

So says the Washington Times that reports various states that oversee the program manage to catch just a fraction of the fraud in the sprawling program.

“In one (Internet) online posting from Jacksonville, Florida, someone was asking for $100 cash in exchange for $228 in food stamps,” The Times reported. “One ad from Raleigh, North Carolina, offered 10 days of cooking and cleaning services in exchange for food stamps. A Charlotte, North Carolina poster said he would trade food stamps for beer, and a Houston ad proposed exchanging food stamps for a catalytic converter.”

Also, a Worcester, Massachusetts, ad proposed up to $3,000 in electronic benefit food stamps transfers in exchange for works of art.

Comment: Add these fraudulent uses of food stamps to a long list of previous and egregious ways people use their government stamps that are intended to keep people from going hungry. In times past we have reported the EBT (food stamp) cards have been used in casinos, strip joints, bars and for cigarettes and booze.

But no one in Washington does anything about it! Our leaders act like they don’t even care.

And I wonder where is the outrage among WE THE PEOPLE who have become silent on the government’s cavalier waste of our hard-earned tax money.

Houston’s Transgender Ordinance Goes to Court

A cultural scenario of major proportions is being played out in Houston, Texas.

Back in 2010, Annise Parker, a practicing lesbian, was elected mayor of Houston. She certainly had the right to run for the office and the people had the right to elect her.

Although she could have been an outstanding mayor and represented all the people, little by little she began to impose a homosexual agenda on the people of Houston.

She urged the City Council to pass a pro homosexual/lesbian/

transgender ordinance which Christians in the city believed to be a violation of their rights and religious convictions.

The ordinance permitted transgenders to enter the public bathrooms of their choice. For instance, a man dressed as a woman could enter the women’s restroom.

Also, the ordinance exacts a penalty for any so-called act of discrimination. For instance, if a Christian photographer would be asked to take pictures at a same-sex wedding and refused as an act of conscience, he could be prosecuted and fined. Or, if a hotel owner on moral grounds refused to rent the ballroom for a same-sex wedding, he could be prosecuted and fined.

After the ordinance passed, the people of Houston — primarily led by a courageous group of black pastors — began a petition drive to get the necessary signatures for the city to put the ordinance to a vote of the people.

However, Houston’s City Attorney, appointed by the mayor, pulled a cheap trick. He threw out most of the signatures even though the people had three times the number of signatures necessary to allow the people to vote on the ordinance.

A judge — who apparently saw what was going on — gave the people an injunction against the radical ordinance and the mayor agreed not to enforce the ordinance until it can be determined in court.

Meanwhile, the New York Division of Human Rights has fined Cynthia and Robert Gifford $13,000 for standing by their conviction that marriage is between one man and one woman. Hence, they declined to rent out their family farm for a gay wedding, according to Texas Values. The NY Division told them that special rights for homosexuals trump religious liberty and private property rights.

Comment: The Houston transgender ordinance has ramifications for cities all across the land. If the strong, well-funded homosexual/lesbian lobby prevails, they will be encouraged to present ordinances to cities across Texas and other states.

The VA Dilemma — How Bad Was It?

Some 47,786 veterans died waiting to see doctors for treatment in the VA Hospitals, according to the VA’s own records of deceased servicemen and women released this week.

Now that the initial crisis is past, consider the magnitude of the problems and the duration.

“By July 2012, the backlog of veterans whose applications were in so-called pending status had grown to 848,699, according to an internal VA analysis. VA’s backlog of pending health care applications had festered for more than a decade…” wrote Brad Schrade of The Atlanta Constitution.

Congress has passed new legislation and it has been signed into law to fix the problem and the fix involves a generous appropriation of new money, according to The Weekly Standard.

Comment: It seems unfathomable to me that the VA problem existed for a decade — as thousands of veterans died waiting to see a VA doctor and get treatment — and no one, democrat or republican, President Obama or President Bush, no one did anything to solve the problem. No senator, no congressmen, no one. This is a shameful black mark on the history of this erstwhile great land. Our heroic veterans deserved better.

The Report has asked this question from time to time: Can the federal government effectively run anything? There’s the VA fiasco. The Post Office is broke. AMTRAK operates at a deficit. There’s $50 billion annual fraud in Medicare. Billions lost to food stamp fraud.

I ask the question again: Is the federal bureaucracy so large that it has become unmanageable — by either democrats or republicans?

THE PRESIDENCY OF RICHARD NIXON: PBS AMERICAN EXPERIENCE

When Richard Milhouse Nixon was President of the United States, people either loved him or hated him, but few Americans were neutral. Here is his entire story done in three segments. You don’t have to watch any more than you would want to watch at any given time, but you can keep coming back to it if you’re really interested. Richard Nixon was the first president to resign from office before his second term expired. Tears and jeers met his announcement of failure that would cause impeachment. What did Nixon accomplish while he was in office? Watch this film and you’ll know.

YOU WON"T BELIEVE WHAT YOU SEE HERE BEFORE YOUR VERY EYES

ACTS 16:1–3; 2 Timothy 1:1–5

Larry Jack, who does all of the technology to make reachmorenow.com what it is, is my spiritual son. He came to live with my first wife and me twenty-one 14. He loves Jesus Christ like I do and we have grown together in Christ as we’ve shared our lives. There are male to male and female to female relationships that had nothing to do with being a homosexual or lesbian. In the Old Testament, David and Jonathan had a best friend’s relationship that was similar to what Larry and mine is. In the New Testament, Paul and Timothy had a similar relationship. In this teaching, Paul talks about his spiritual son and Timothy’s background. I think you’ll find it extremely interesting.

JOSH GROBAN SINGS "HE LIFTS ME UP"

I fully admit that I have put Josh here because he is one of my favorite top five male singers of all time. So, if you don’t watch this, I’ll be watching it many times.. The song itself takes you to Heavenly places and face-to-face with Jesus Christ. There are none of us who don’t get weighed down at times with our own lives. Rising out of that with His strength is what causes us to grow in Him and to realize His love at higher dimensions. Let Christ lift you up out of any sewer you might have fallen into. Believe me, I speak from experience. – Ray

ELVIS PRESLEY SINGS "ONE PAIR OF HANDS" by Carroll Roberson

Elvis Presley was the Christian that all Christians will hear is saying again in Heaven. A member of the Oak Ridge Quartet told me whenever they got together with Elvis, he would want to sing gospel songs all night long. He loved them bashed he loved the Lord. So what about his messed up life? When someone asks Christ to come into their life as their Savior, they are forgiven by Him and their sins are washed clean in the blood of Christ. Elvis had done that and remember that he had given his life into Christ’s hands no matter how twisted and painful his life became. Christians will get to hear Elvis sing again in Heaven! – Ray

Don’t let the beginning of this movie scare you into not watching it. It’s a spoof and you’ll find that out very quickly. It’s great fun to watch this movie because there are so many delightful scenes that will make you bellylaugh and then constantly smile through romance, imagination – even an angel. Some movies get lost in the dust because something else that is drawing everyone’s attention at the moment at the box office. But don’t miss this one. It’s too much fun. – Ray

6 WAYS MEN AND WOMEN ARE (MOSTLY) DIFFERENT by Peggy Drexler

We both want it all. Beyond that, research finds we have less in common. I’ve spent most of my career as a psychologist examining the differences, as well as the similarities, between how men and women approach life, and the experiences that make up that life: How they work, how they parent, how they love. (And, yes, whether they ask for directions.) And while you may recognize yourself in some of the following general dichotomies, you very well may not. That’s the beauty of human nature:

SIX WAYS MEN AND WOMEN ARE (MOSTLY) DIFFERENT

by Dr. Peggy Drexler

She wants it all. So does he. When we talk about how men and women define success, we often generalize: Women want balance, or to “have it all.” Men want status, and its symbols — houses, cars, stuff. But that’s not the whole story. One recent survey found the ambition gap a little narrower than previously thought. More than half of women turned down a job due to concerns about its impact on the work-life balance. But so did more than half of men. And two-thirds of both sexes felt they could “have it all.” Both genders, meanwhile, ranked the qualities of career success in this order: Work-life balance, then money, and then recognition.

She wears her heart on her sleeve. He tucks it away. If I’ve heard this once, I’ve heard it a thousand times: “He can’t connect emotionally.” It’s a universal complaint among women, it seems (along with unequal pay for equal work and the difficulty finding the perfect pair of jeans). But what I’ve found is that most of the women who say this are confusing love with the expression of love. While for women the two may be one in the same, for men they often aren’t. The truth is, both men and women feel; they just express it differently, if they express it at all. Women are often fine with sharing every last emotion in part because, for them, it’s a way of stress relief. Men, though, are more likely to “put on a mask” to conform to long-established societal expectations — and because the expression just doesn’t bring them the same sort of physical satisfaction.

She fights. He takes flight. Perhaps this sounds familiar: A bad day for her ends in tears and a desire to rehash what went wrong and who did what, followed by a plan for how to “fix” it. For him? A short outburst, and then, end of discussion — a night of TV or a glass of scotch. This is entirely common: Studies show that women and men experience and respond to conflicts at work in very different ways. Women tend to feel conflict more deeply, reporting higher levels of work stress, tension, and frustration than men. And so they respond by working harder. Men, on the other hand, are more inclined to call in sick or otherwise “check out.” (And if you’ve ever tried to have a serious conversation with a male partner, only to witness his eyes glaze over, you know this response isn’t limited to conflicts at the office.)

She has lots of friends. He has, well, fewer. No matter how sure you are that men spend their free time complaining about the women in their lives, science says otherwise. Men have fewer friends than women, on average, and those friendships are different. They confide in each other less. They don’t talk. Instead, they “do stuff” — golf, ski, drink. Is it that men don’t want close relationships with their pals? Not at all. One study found that when asked about what they’d like from friendships, men are just as likely as women to list things like emotional support, ability to confide in the person, and having someone to care for them. But they sure don’t get that from other men in real life. They are conditioned from an early age to believe that friendships are “girly.” So they leave them to the girls.

She multi-tasks. He’s laser-focused. Many years into my marriage, I’ll still initiate an important conversation with my husband while doing at least one or two other things — cooking dinner, catching up on the news, driving to visit a friend — and he will invariably ask to have the conversation later, at a time when I’m less otherwise engaged. The research finds that men aren’t as skilled as women at dealing with more than one problem or task at a time. One study found that women perform 70 percent better than men at juggling more than one task at a time. So when he asks not to be interrupted, he’s not being brusque: It’s simply how he operates best.

She regrets. So does he. Our society has mixed opinions on regret: Some view it as a useless, awful feeling that can lead to depression and stagnation. Others argue that, harnessed appropriately, regret can in fact be useful in moving us forward. Either way, it’s an emotion experienced equally between the sexes — though not quite similarly. Studies show that men tend to regret things they hadn’t done, while women regretted things they had.

All of this being said, it’s important to recognize that the qualities men and women share, or don’t, are fluid and ever-changing, and prone to shifting with time, experience, and relationships. We’re not stagnant beings. That is to say, keep picking up his socks and someday he might just pick up yours.

FBI AND HOMELAND SECURITY WARN LAW ENFORCEMENT ABOUT ISIS

Both the FBI and Homeland Security have issued warnings to all law enforcement agencies throughout America that our attacking Isis in Iraq may bring Isis to attack America. That warning was released Friday after the terrifying announcement that foreign fighters who have been fighting as Isis troops are returning to their own countries and creating Isis cells with nothing but evil strategies in mind.

News written and delivered by Ray Mossholder

Wednesday, August 27, 2014

Hello America. Hello world.

From the headquarters of reachmorenow.com in Fort Worth, Texas, this is Ray Mossholder and this is the news.

The warning reads: “It is difficult to predict triggers that will contribute to (Homeland violent terrorists) attempting acts of violence. (Lone wolf terrorists) present law enforcement with limited opportunities to detect and disrupt plots, which frequently involve simple plotting against targets of opportunity.”

Yesterday White House spokesman Josh Earnest downplayed the threat to America from Isis. He told the press corps “We are concerned about the threat that is posed by Isil, but it is the assessment as stated by the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and by the intelligence community, that there currently is not an active plot underway to attack the United States by Isil.” Earnest read those words very carefully.

The recent law enforcement bulletin that was sent nationally by the FBI and Homeland Security stressed that Isis will continue to use Twitter hashtags and Facebook along with other social media to spread its propaganda, especially after any major events while many more people than even what is usual are checking with family and friends. (Isis used the attention focused on social media to propagandize directly after the Napa, California, earthquake this past weekend.)

Disasters natural or otherwise are used by Isis for propaganda and spreading fear over the social media

Earnest also stressed that the vast majority of Isis members are just two countries – Iraq and Syria. However, they will try to regularly send fear worldwide because fear, in spite of everything else, is their number one weapon.

It remains unclear at this moment whether President Obama is striking a beehive with a stick or a country that has not invited him. Either way the results right now are like high stakes poker with the winner being announced very soon.

Our president has, without any authorization but his own, sent drones in a prelude to airstrikes against Isis in Syria. Syria’s president Assad is anything but happy about it and asking America how it would like it if a foreign country, especially one that has been totally antagonistic towards its leader, should come with drones flying over our nation? The anger coming from Assad may lead to the United States finding out the answer to that question very quickly.

President Obama has used to sending drones over Pakistan. Far more recently, he has been sending them over Iraq. His purpose in sending them over Syria is still the same – to locate that terror organization that has threatened it will very soon destroy one of our major cities. But Assad says America’s drones are unwanted in a major violation of international law. Once again, as is our president’s habit, he did not consult Congress or Assad before this action. Congress remains on vacation.

In international terms, Obama action is “intrusive” rather than “protective,” which is to say that America has invaded Syria for the purpose of destruction rather than coming on to friendly territory for the purpose of defending ourselves. For a president who believes in political correctness, that philosophy must not extend in his mind further than our own borders. Some question whether it extends that.

On Monday, President Assad demanded that America get his permission before invading his country with the goal of airstrikes. In no uncertain terms, the US State Department answered that it has no intention of seeking “the approval of the Syrian regime.”

What is troubling about what we are at this moment in Syria is setting a precedent that in later weeks, months, or hopefully many years, may be used as the excuse for any nation in the world to do what we are doing now to our own country. And we will have no excuse to argue against it.

The Obama administration hates any idea that we might start working again with the Syrian president who has used chemical warfare as a weapon. Meanwhile, it is to be remembered that the United States is working to develop chemical warfare weaponry right now. For what purpose?

Is there a time in any future situation that America would unleash their chemical weapons against any group of people? If so, doesn’t that make us hypocrites while even working on such a possibility?

Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said yesterday, “Just because the Syrian regime is taking on Isil or… Speaking publicly about that, it certainly doesn’t mean that were on the same side of the coin here. I think when American lives are at stake, when we are talking about defending our own interests, we’re not looking for the approval of the Syrian regime.”

Lord, may this never come back to bite us.

In an announcement by the United States National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden, an American, Douglas MacAuthur McCain (his correct spelling), died in action against Iraqi troops yesterday. She said “We continue to use every tool we possess to disrupt and dissuade individuals from traveling abroad for violent jihad and to track and engage those who return.”

American Douglas MacAuthur McCain,

slain with Isis in Syria

Members of McCain’s family told the Minneapolis Star Tribune they had been concerned about McCain’s enthusiasm for Isis. His uncle said Douglas had converted from Christianity to Islam several years ago and traveled to the war region through Turkey to fight as a jihadist.

Attorney General Eric Holder said about 7,000 American men out of approximately 23,000 members of Isis are fighting now in Syria and Iraq.

England’s Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond was quoted Sunday as saying that the Islamic State is “turning a swath of Iraq and Syria into a terrorist state as a base for launching attacks on the West. Sooner or later they will seek to strike us on British soil.”

Germany bombing England during the Second World War

Meanwhile, the United States and the United Kingdom intelligence forces joined together and have pinpointed the man who beheaded journalist James Foley. The man is from England and was raised in a million-dollar home in Maida Vale, one of the most plush areas of London, with his mother and five siblings.

The man, until he left for the killing fields was a well-known British rapper, Abdel–Majed Abdel Bary, whose rap music has been playing on the BBC until he sent a picture of himself from Raqqa, Iraq, earlier this year, holding just a head of someone. He wrote under the picture “Chillin with my homie or what’s left of him.”

Abdel’s father, Egyptian national Adel Abdul Bary, was believed to have been a very close friend of Osama bin Laden and was extradited from England to the United States in 2012 for his alleged bombings of two US embassies in East Africa.

Here are just a part of the lyrics written by the rapper turned savage with Isis:

“Give me the pride and the honor like my father, I swear that they came and took my dad, I could’ve killed a cop or two. Imagine then I was only six, picture what I’d do now with a loaded stick. Like boom bang fine, I’m wishing you were dead, violate my brothers and I’m filling you with lead.”

The demonic cruelty and barbarism of Isis is beyond human imagination. Their most recent inhuman action was to wire the Iraq Christian town of Talesskev with explosives everywhere before it could be liberated by Peshmerga. Talesskev was once the home of six thousand people and it was recaptured by the Kurdish troops on the 16th of this month. It’s a town located about 20 miles from Mosul. Ever since, the heartbroken Iraqis who lived in Talesskev have been sifting through the rubble to find anything left that belong to them.

General ABDUL-ARAH-MAN (Abdularahman) Gawrini said “I always tell my friend that Isis has more TNT then we have baking powder.” Gawrini said his special troops have unwired eight clusters of TNT in Talesskev. He said Isis is highly skilled in manufacturing explosives, and they also helped themselves to the many times in explosives the Iraqi Army left behind when it fled its bases.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas announced tonight that Israel and all militant factions in Palestine including Hamas, Fatah, and Islamic Jihad, have reached their twelve cease-fire to end seven weeks of devastation. He said they also have agreed to postpone negotiations over issues that remain for one month.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas

Israeli government spokesman Mark Regev said the agreement on all sides “commits Hamas to ending all hostile activity from Gaza. Now if that in fact does happen, and we hope it does, that is, for us, victory.”

Abbas said that he will soon present a detailed plan aimed at establishing a Palestinian state along the 1967 lines. That was in reference to all the territories Israel occupied in the Six-Day War – including Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem.

Something is very strange about stopping this war. One of the things is that Hamas seems to have won everything they wanted and Israel gets to go back to waiting to see if Hamas will keep the agreement or start firing rockets back into Israel continuously after the cease-fire ends or even before it ends.

One of three things has just happened to Benjamin Netanyahu – one, he has turned out to be a fool, which he absolutely isn’t. Benjamin Netanyahu is one of the greatest leaders Israel has known.

Two, he is making a political decision because his poll numbers favoring him with the Israeli people have fallen from 82% in July to 32% this week, mainly because he has allowed so many cease-fires when the Israeli people knew they were winning against the terrorists and desperately need to destroy them once and for all. Netanyahu promised Israel that this would be a long war and that Israel wouldn’t stop until they had wiped out their enemy. That’s why his poll numbers went up so high as the people cheered their army on. If he has stopped because of the freefall in his poll numbers, his poll numbers will drop worse than ever because he hasn’t kept his word to them. He will continue to decrease the faith his people have had in him.

The third possibility, and by far the most probable, is that behind the scenes Netanyahu has had so much arm-twisting done to him by President Obama, John Kerry, and the United Nations (who has embraced Hamas like a long-lost brother), that the Prime Minister knows it would be dangerous to his country to continue because the longer he did the harder they’d twist until his arm would be completely torn away by the Obama administration. Israel desperately needs the millions of dollars they receive yearly from America. Without it, Israel’s future would be extremely challenging.

President Obama is getting his way. A couple of years ago he said he believed Israel should give up all the land that Israel conquered in the 1967 Six-Day War. And far harder days for Israel will be in their future than they have had in their past. What a way for America to treat his greatest ally in the Middle East!

Whatever has caused this situation to be given as a prize to Hamas is extremely sad. Hamas is a terror organization that will soon become a state thanks to the United Nations with full support from our President.

You might think that’s the end of the Israeli report for tonight, but it isn’t. Israel received more than a strong threat from Iran yesterday. Iran claims an Israeli drone flew over their country that was an Israeli drone. Their response was immediate. Brigadier General Hossein Salami said about the drone, “Iran will not give a diplomatic response but will air its grievances with Israel on the battlefield, but we will not necessarily announce it. Our enemy will see and understand it. We never step back in a confrontation with our enemies. The Islamic Republic is powerful and is capable of confronting any power at any level and we never bring down the level of our goals.”

Brigadier General Hossein Salami

The day before, the Iranian government said they planned to sue Israel in the International Criminal Court.

Iran declared over the weekend that they had shot down Israel’s drone and that it was an Israeli–made Hermes 450 unmanned drone on the way to Natanz nuclear enrichment site where it is alleged that Iran is building a nuclear bomb.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Psalm 25

1. To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul;

2. in you I trust, O my God.

Do not let me be put to shame,

nor let my enemies triumph over me.

3. No one whose hope is in you

will ever be put to shame,

but they will be put to shame

who are treacherous without excuse.

4. Show me your ways, O LORD,

teach me your paths;

5. guide me in your truth and teach me,

for you are God my Savior,

and my hope is in you all day long.

6. Remember, O LORD,

your great mercy and love,

for they are from of old.

7. Remember not the sins of my youth

and my rebellious ways;

according to your love remember me,

for you are good, O LORD.

8. Good and upright is the LORD;

therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.

9. He guides the humble in what is right

and teaches them his way.

10. All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant.

11. For the sake of your name, O LORD,

forgive my iniquity, though it is great.

12. Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD?

He will instruct him in the way chosen for him.

13. He will spend his days in prosperity,

and his descendants will inherit the land.

14. The LORD confides in those who fear him;

he makes his covenant known to them.

15. My eyes are ever on the LORD,

for only he will release my feet from the snare.

16. Turn to me and be gracious to me,

for I am lonely and afflicted.

17. The troubles of my heart have multiplied;

free me from my anguish.

18. Look upon my affliction and my distress

and take away all my sins.

19. See how my enemies have increased

and how fiercely they hate me!

20. Guard my life and rescue me;

let me not be put to shame,

for I take refuge in you.

21. May integrity and uprightness protect me,

because my hope is in you.

22. Redeem Israel, O God,

from all their troubles!

Syria had attacked Israel this weekend. Five Syrian rockets struck in different sections of the Golan Heights. They were fired at 1:30 A.M. Sunday morning and thankfully caused no injuries. A spokesman said no one in Israel is sure who fired those rockets.

This is not the first time that Syria has fired at Israel. In July, they fired a rocket into northern Israel and Israel fired back with an even stronger return.

Saturday night, Lebanon also fired a rocket at Israel that ended in Upper Galilee. Israel did not fire back, but immediately sent “a strong protest” to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

The European Centre for Law and Justice which is the international affiliate of the American Center for Law and Justice, last week called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations, H. E. Ban Ki-moon to launch an investigation to discover why United Nations Relief And Work for Palestine Refugees in the Near East facilities were used to support Hamas operatives in their attacks on Israel.

Jay Sekulow, who serves as Chief Counsel of both the national and international arms of the ACLJ wrote the following to the Secretary general: “The homes very reputation and legitimacy of the United Nations and its various arms are at stake, especially since Hamas is widely recognized as a terrorist organization. What’s worse – the return to Hamas of the rockets unlawfully stored in UNRWA facilities strongly suggests that UNRWA employees may be acting in concert and/or cooperating with Hamas operatives in unlawfully attacking a UN member state. That cannot be tolerated and may, in fact, constitute a war crime. At a minimum, it places in question the legitimacy and impartiality of all UNRWA operations in Gaza.

Until such an investigation takes place and effective measures are put in place to preclude future violations of UNRWA protected status, the impartiality of UNRWA will remain in question, and Israeli doubts about the sanctity of UNRWA will be fully justified.

Hollywood is rightfully blamed for many things, but they got it right this time. More than 200 actors, actresses, directors, and those associated with the making of motion pictures have signed a statement stating that “Hamas cannot be allowed to reign rockets on Israeli cities, nor can it be allowed to hold its own people hostage. Hospitals are for healing, not for hiding weapons. Schools are for learning, not for launching missiles. Children are for hope, not for human shields.

While we stand firm in our commitment to peace and justice, we must also stand firm against ideologies of hatred and genocide, which are reflected in Hamas’ charter, Article 7, which reads ‘There is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him!’”

Here are the ones who had signed the statement:

Earlier last week a similar letter was written in favor of Hamas that was circulated by Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem and carried a hundred signatures from Hollywood. That list got so much negative response from the rest of Hollywood that both Penelope and Javier withdrew their signatures and admitted they hadn’t known enough about what Hamas was doing, but had been reacting to the death of children in Palestine.

Ukraine has captured ten Russian paratroopers in the Eastern Donetsk region and Vladimir Putin has said “Woops!” He insists their paratroopers entered Ukraine strictly by accident.

Putin’s embarrassment came at a very untimely moment. Within hours of the discovery of the paratroopers, Vladimir and Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko, sat down for the first time face-to-face and talk together in Minsk, Belarus.

Their talk ended with much more of the result then might have been expected. Poroshenko give this report: “A roadmap will be prepared in order to achieve, as soon as possible, a cease-fire regime which absolutely must be bilateral in character.” Poroshenko and Putin spoke alone for two hours. Afterward they were joined by the EU’s top diplomat Catherine Ashton for still more talk.

Vladimir Putin at the end of his conversation with Ukrainian president said “Russia, for its part will do everything to support the peace process if it starts. But it is up to the government in Kiev and separatist leaders in the East to work out conditions for a truce.”

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin

The Obama administration also continues to accuse Russia of putting their own boots on the ground in an invasion of Ukraine. United States security advisor Susan Rice said yesterday ” Russia’s military incursions into Ukraine – artillery, air defense systems, dozens of tanks and military personnel – represents significant escalation, and this is unacceptable, dangerous and inflammatory.” Vladimir Putin continues to say that these charges against Russia are being made without proof because none of it is true.

Speaking of incursions, California Governor Jerry Brown doesn’t believe there is such a word as “illegal” when it comes to our border. He says California’s big enough for everybody and is throwing a party with all the trimmings for every illegal alien who would like to come and live in the Sunshine State

Last night, Governor Brown threw a party for Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, and according to the Los Angeles Times, he told the large Mexican crowd that joined them, Brown called America “the other Mexico.” Brown “spoke about the interwoven histories of Mexico and California. Then, again according to the Times, the Governor “nodded to the immigrants in the room, saying it didn’t matter if they had permission to be in the United States. You’re all welcome in California.”

Los Angeles has been a sanctuary city for years that has all but given illegals the keys to the city. Now Jerry Brown has opened up the floodgates of all California and, like the Statue of Liberty is saying “Give me your tired, your poor…”, but he is adding two more words “your illegal.…”

Brown made California a sanctuary state by signing the Trust Act that gives drivers licenses to illegal aliens, expanded financial support for them, and signed the California Dream Act. Mexican president Nieto thanked Governor Brown for extending state benefits to the immigrants.

While the border crossing of anyone and everyone continues, Brown had already vowed “to find ways to shorten long waits at the Tijuana/San Diego international border crossing and said “If we can put a man on the moon, we can put a man from Mexico to California in 20 minutes.”

In 2012, 28% of Californians were born outside the United States according to the New York Times. Hispanic voters made up 19.2% of California voters in 2010. According to the Pew Research, Latinos make up nearly 40% of the state’s population and have made California “only the second state behind New Mexico where whites are not the majority and Latinos are the plurality.”

Even though the University of California has admitted a record number of Hispanics, the Latino Caucus has vowed to make affirmative action and bilingual education top legislative priorities. Jerry Brown applauds their goal.

Yesterday Mexico’s Governor spoke to the California state legislature while American Marine Sergeant Andrew Tahmooressi has been isolated for months in a Tijuana jail cell for crossing the border the other way by mistake. Jerry Brown, who is running for reelection, has no time to be concerned about that.

If I had said Ferguson, Missouri, a month ago, you might have wondered where that was in that state. No longer. Hearing the name of that suburb of St. Louis almost certainly gives you a mental picture of what happened there earlier this month. In still another name would immediately come to mind – Michael Brown.

Michael Brown would have enjoyed his own funeral in Ferguson on Monday. Black people know music from the soul and there was a lot of it at Michael’s funeral. Thousands came to take part in it who couldn’t get in because of the huge crowd jammed in inside. Even though the event was solemn, the music, though non-theatrical, was professional and the singers and speakers were deeply sincere.

With Michael Brown buried yesterday, somewhere close to one hundred demonstrators marched in Ferguson yesterday, demanding the arrest of police officer Darren Wilson for the shooting of Michael. They also called for the removal from office of the Ferguson police chief.

Although the marchers simply chanted, there was an undertow of seething rage. The black people who will never forget the name Trayvon Martin and how his killer was exonerated want no repeat performance of what they believe was at that time a wretched unfair decision.

The marchers chanted “Fired up, fed up, time that we stand up.” In their minds the verdict is already in. The fact that America has a philosophy of innocent until proven guilty, doesn’t interest them at all.

The facts are clear. Officer Darren Wilson shot an unarmed black teenager is evidence enough to hang him. A few bruises should never be enough to shoot six bullets into anybody. The protesters are so far stopping just short of a lynching. They were blocked from walking up the courthouse steps by policemen who were mainly on bicycles.

The whopper is getting whopped by Burger King’s former fans. In fact, the fans are planning a boycott of the Burger King fast food chain. Why? Because Burger King is the most recent company to use a tax dodge by getting out of Dodge.

The fans are spreading the news faster than a speeding bullet on Facebook and Twitter that Burger King plans to take its major office and move it to Canada and is buying a donut and coffee chain called Tim Horton’s to give them their Canadian base. Adding doughnuts that you can dunk in your coffee will give Burger King – get ready for this – 18 thousand fast food restaurants across 100 countries! The price of such a takeover? – A measly 11 billion dollars! And who else but Warren Buffett will be supplying 25% of that because he likes the dough in doughnuts.

Burger King announced the deal yesterday morning, but rumbles among the customers nationwide say the King belongs to America along with mother, the flag and apple pie.

There is no doubt Burger King’s financial gain will soon offset any amount of money lost right now from disenchanted burger lovers. Otherwise Buffett would save his pennies. Instead, Buffett says “This sure beats the stock market.”

The purpose, of course, in Burger King making this giant move is because of the high taxes – they are taxed 35% of their profits compared with 26% north of this country. A second reason for the move is because Burger King hasn’t done at all as well as McDonald’s or Dunkin’ Donuts with the morning crowd throughout our land. The reputation of Tim Horton’s breakfast crowd in Canada is phenomenal, and once that chain is taken over by Burger King, should very quickly make Burger King the early morning favorite.

What’s happening is called a “tax inversion.” Many companies in the last three or four years have done a very similar thing – moving their corporation to a totally different country in order to save a ton of money. The difference between 35% in taxes and 26%, may not sound like much, but it represents many millions more dollars in corporate taxes for businesses as large as Burger King. President Obama has talked about closing the Corporation loophole that has angered his administration every time a new corporation takes their business elsewhere and away from the home of the free. These corporations have found that America isn’t free enough to keep them here.

One thing giving the Burger King protesters hope is that boycotting stopped your friendly neighborhood drugstore Walgreens earlier this month to another land. They gave up that idea when three hundred thousand or so petitioned them who were against that idea. However, Kings rule and the deal with Canadian doughnuts is now a slam dunk.

I wonder if, when it gets to Canada, it will change its name to Burger King ay?!
