This is one of the most true to life motion pictures I have ever seen. With extremely little exception it is totally follows the gospel records in telling the nativity story. Mary and Joseph are beautifully and realistically portrayed by two awesome performers. The rest of the cast is equally great and the first century setting in Israel is interesting with not just props, but exact items used at that time. It is one of my ten favorite movies of all time.
