Paul Harvey “The Policeman”
Last night a peaceful Martin Luther King kind of protest waright on Gods being held as mostly black people gathered to mourn the deaths of two black men in two different states who had been killed by policemen in the two days preceding yesterday. Investigations are in the process of finding out what really happened in both instances. It was evening and the warm summer air made it a great time for such a gathering. Thousands moved quietly on the streets, grieving over their fallen comrades. Then shots rang out over and over again. The result was five tremendously brave policeman dead and seven other policemen hospitalized.
Right now it appears that the killer, another black man and a seven times awarded hero for his action during his nine months of service to America in Afghanistan, was a lone gunman But further investigations will continue.
