SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN JUST ONCE
by Ray Mossholder
Did the happening come just once in time
Even a happening so sublime
That it makes you shout or gasp or wonder
Was it only for then – that roar of thunder
That brought Saul to his knees as he heard his name
And turned him to Paul of Holy Ghost fame?
Shall I turn what happened then into a Law
That thunder must clap and bring me to awe
Before I’ll be saved? I think not.
For nowhere else in Scripture is that lesson taught.
